Maryvale Elementary School PTA
Mission
The mission of the Maryvale Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is to support the school and parents in their combined efforts to educate the children. The PTA provides time, money and effort to help provide things not covered by the school's budget to help enrich the school's curriculum.
The PTA also helps parents and teachers stay informed about their school environment, as well as local, regional and national issues that impact our children's education.
Goals
Among others, goals for your PTA for 2006-2007 include:
Providing volunteering assistance to more teachers,
Increasing efficiency of fundraisers,
Supporting implementation of Baldrige programs,
Improving communications to parents and teachers regarding school activities,
Reaching out to school community,
Holding PTA meetings that focus on achieving PTA goals.
